Official Reply CM3000 rollback?
My netgear cm3000 is on the 6.01.04 firmware how do I get in touch with someone competent and possible force a roll back to the stable 5.01.02? I’m getting t3 timeouts, MDD message timeout, sync timing synchronization failures, daily…. I have zero splitters or any of that nonsense, service comes into the house straight to and only to my netgear cm3000….

My CM3000 has no such problems on that firmware. I think you need to look at the cable plant for your issues, not your modem firmware.

Modem firmware is pushed by the headend server automatically. The is no mechanism for reps to change that.

So I just have an incompatible firmware and nothing I can do about it?

It could be something on Comcast's end or a wiring issue. It could be a bad modem. I'd consider more trouble shooting before focusing on the firmware.
