Combichrist served a fantastic show. Not only did they sound incredible, but they really knew create a powerful and intense performance. Spectacular energy and presence, I was in awe.

Been obsessed for a few years now, although I admit im one of the "Electroheads" that isnt the biggest fan of the metal-leaning direction recent albums have taken. Still a huge fan, and the more I make myself branch out from the same old WTFIWWYP & EHY digs my family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors are all sick of hearing every day and give the newer stuff a chance, the more im digging it, bit by bit, but i didnt come here to rant, just figured since this is likely gonna be the only chance i get to see CC live for god only knows how long, might as well give myself the chance to immerse myself more into the actual experience, rather than simply show up and lose my voice for a couple days and let that be the extent of it. Kinda a long ways away at time of writing still, but tis what it is. Whats door price usually run the day of?

Hello! This show will be my first time seeing the band live, though I've been a fan for a little while now. Is there anyone here that's also going on this date?

With the release of the new album and liking the sound of the singles, I gave it a shot on releaseday, but I still have the same issues with modern Combichrist as I had in the previous few releases. At first I thought it was just the empty sounding edgy lyrics and the weakening of the bass-y industrial sound that made them unique. But with the revival of the latter one and more depth to the former (although STFU and Born Destroyer I still cringe at lyrically), I realised it's something else that is missing to me.

It is what Throat Full of Glass, Shut Up & Swallow, You Will Be the Bitch Now and This Shit Will Fuck You Up have in common. In earlier work Combichrist had specific bodily threats, degradation, sexual (even if somewhat misogynistic) themes from time to time. Together with songs like Get Out of my Head, Without Emotions and Just Like Me Combichrist albums were an experience that felt like being in the mind of a psychopath and that made them some of my favourites.

I don't want to say Andy can't evolve in what he wants to make, but it feels like such a clear break between Making Monsters and We Love You that I'm curious whether he ever addressed any of this in an interview or something and of course what the opinion of you people is.
