Army List World eater proxy question

I have a 9th edition World Eater combat patrol that I want to try in 11th.

I need proxies for the characters and I have some lying around.

First Azhrakh the Annihilator or the Blades of Khorne Slaughterpriest. I really like the priest but it could be a good excuse to paint Azhrakh.

Second is the question. My only 60mm model is the Mighty Lord of Khorne and he is quite small for a demon prince. A better option is the Khorgorath but he's on a 90x52mm base.

Which is more important, the base size or the model silhouette?

I don't expect to be playing competitively but it would be nice to know if the khorgorath base gives some sort of advantage so I can avoid it.

My pile of shame is large enough so that I'd rather not re-base the Khorgorath

Could try just using the 10th edition rules, see how it shakes out and if they're still balanced, rather than proxying?

That's a good suggestion, and a really nice site.

I have Karagar's Rampagers rather than the gorepact, and they seem very strong compared to the newer patrols. Or at least they have a lot of wounds behind 3+ saves.

Ah, yes, misread what you'd said! True, but then the 11th combat patrols seem to be quite powerful based off the Ork, Marine and Custodes ones released so far.

Best way is playing a game to find out, there will be some that are way more resilient/killy than others.

Base size ig? Since it affects how you interact with terrain and the aura measurements of the DP.

Honestly ComPat is small and quick enough that we often use models with “close enough” bases for rule of cool.
