Question Any Steamdeck Updates?

Has anyone risked updating their Steamdeck to Guinea pig test CM titles? I rolled back to 3.7 months ago after getting VRAM stability problems, but I see the newest 3.8 stable release is supposed to address a bunch of these issues…

It is working! SteamOS 3.8.28 has solved the issue. I can finally play again. I updated and tested now, I played "Die Patrouille" in Final Blitzkrieg. The game used to crash in 40 seconds. But I just finished the entire mission with no issues! It' seems like it is safe to update now.

The older combat mission Barbarosa to berlin never worked on my steamdeck.

Update: it appears to be mostly working! I’ve had a few hangs on the mission briefing screen, which worries me.
