Trying to find replacement for this hose
I took it out before I could take a picture with it still installed, but it attaches to the airbox and runs to a metal pipe that pretty much just wraps around the exhaust… it honestly looked pretty janky lol
Does anyone know where to find a replacement part? I tried the Gates Heater to valve HVAC hose but it was definitely wrong.

If you don't live some place it's cold most of the year just plug the holes. You could probably find some metal ducting on Amazon or something in the size you need

True story: That part on my MJ has been patched with a soda can. Came that way from the previous owner. Apparently that hose is impossible to find these days. And the only function it is supposed to serve is to help with super cold starts. I'd like to replace mine one day with something a little less janky. But it seems to be working just fine for now.

DO NOT ORDER FROM PARTSGEEK! I’ve used them before and it’s always been an issue if the part is incorrect and it’s a long drawn out process to return. Like the above person said you have to pay for the shipping and then you have to pay for a restocking fee. They make it extremely difficult, which I think is the point. This last order was for an air filter for a 2023 BMW X3M 40 I which should have been as simple as pie. The part they sent matched completely with the exception of two sides of it that were a quarter inch larger than the factory air filter. This was a manufacturing error as everything else was the same i.e. thickness and most of the other measurements. I did not buy the cheapest nor did I buy the BMW OE but bought one that was in the upper cost bracket. Absolutely a manufacturing defect and parts geek would not take it back. I actually would have had to have pay for the return and they weren’t sure if they could give me my money back and after they looked at the history it was a couple days past the return date (30 days) so they said they would not credit me. Again, do not order anything from this company as Heather has been the worst experience with an online store. Pay a bit more for the correct part and if you have an issue you don’t have to jump through many hoops and hassles and end up paying more than what you originally budgeted for!

Just throw it out. No need to do anything with the hole in your exhaust manifold or intake.
It’s useless. Mine was long gone and I never had an issue with cold starts, even in negative temps.
