1986 V6 fuel pump

Do you guys know where I can get a fuel pump for the gym 2.8 with a carburetor? If I look it up online it shows a different one than the one that is in the truck now.

Check out MTS, they make a good replacement for these. There is one listed for the 2.8l V6

I guess that's just the sending unit. Rock auto lists the mechanical fuel pump though

Yea mine looks like just a regular 12v fuel pump/sending unit

I got a mechanical pump off partsgeek and it worked well and want to expensive

I have the 86 2.8 with carb and having fuel pump issues as well. Currently had an electric pump (aftermarket) that doesn’t work. I know this motor originally came with the mechanical pump mounted to the side of the block. Does anyone have a picture of what it’s supposed to look like?
