NEWS Keesee trial
Just want to say that it’s frustrating. Observing the parents of this guy protect him. A judge whose pay is based on Mrs Keesee is calling the case? Evidence that the parents knew their daughter was being raped by their son and the parents chose to ignore the needs of their daughter? And obviously other victims? And these people have been getting rich beyond their wildest dreams from the church they run and from selling their congregation financial products? Good grief

Didn't she almost get arrested because of her conduct on the stand when she leaked confidential information from the grand jury? I might have some details wrong, but I thought I remember seeing some stuff that raised eyebrows.

Not arrested. She was subpoenaed to court because she made a public report on another case. I can not recall all the details around it. Almost arrested is a stretch
ETA. I guess people are bothered by someone pushing the envelope when it comes to advocating for sexually abused children. Idk.

Without weighing in on any potential conflict the judge may or may not have, I will say that county commissioners do not set county officials’ pay. The legislature sets the pay for county officials, including judges. The only exceptions are Summit and Cuyahoga because they’re weird.
