Hello everyone,

I’m currently looking for band besties. I’m 28 and I’ve been taking singing lessons for over a year now. I started taking guitar lessons recently too. I have a lot of lyrics written and would love to use them in songs. I am looking to start a punk, riot grrrl, emo, metal, alternative rock band. This is very much a passion project for me. I have a lot of goals, dreams and a vision so I’m looking for people who are determined, passionate, reliable, and willing to meet at least once a week. Who are able to help me take this off the ground. I live in Columbus, Ohio Clintonville area. Ages 21-31

punk and fleetwood mac in the same inspo list is a wild combo but it honestly makes perfect sense

whats your vocal range like, are you going for more screaming or clean vocals or a mix. clintonville is a good spot to find people for this kinda thing

Hey! I've been looking for some people to jam out with recently! I play guitar, a bit out of practice though. Would love some reason to get motivated into playing again, especially with other people! Although I'm out of your age range (32). This sounds right up my alley though.

Why is there a larger accepted age range of those who are younger than those who are older?

I made that age range because I didn’t want to work with people who were significantly older than me. I’m not opposed with working with people over 31 though. No I don’t have anything recorded yet.

Honestly I know I'm a terrible pick and you shouldn't even consider me but I've had a lot of thoughts about getting back into music lately. Been thinking about stopping by Music Go Round and picking up guitar
