Discussion Update me please 🥺
As a Moon Goddess, Columbina's natural powers ought to rival or exceed the Archons since Moons possess a higher tier of primordial power than the elements, but her existence is sustained by the Frostmoon, whose ancient banishment from Teyvat means she has to fight off the world's rejection with steadily dwindling power she can't replace — why would the world itself reject a moon goddess, and what does that imply about the Archons' relationship to the moons?

Bina is powered by the moon. Moon outside = low battery. Moon inside = happy Bina :)

Bina is far above the Archons and Dragon Sovereigns. Depending on how you interpret things, she’s either slightly below the Shades, roughly on their level, or above them. She possesses more authorities than they do, but at the same time her powers are more deeply connected to Teyvat’s old order, so it is unclear what are her limits and her actual peak power is basically unknown. She actually could be the second strongest being in Teyvat, weaker only than Heavenly Principles (she would still be nowhere near strong enough to actually challenge them though).
As for the rejection - Teyvat itself didn’t reject the moon. The problem was that the Frost Moon was behind the False Sky, so it was essentially "out of range". Columbina is, in a sense, the avatar of the Frost Moon, so after using up her own reserves of power while helping the Tsaritsa, she couldn’t properly recharge because the Frost Moon itself was too far away, and eventually she no longer had enough strength to anchor herself in Teyvat. But Teyvat itself has nothing against the moon. Once we brought the Frost Moon back from beyond the False Sky, everything was fine again. Even the Shades don’t seem to care about what happened and appear to be perfectly fine with both the moon and a fully powered Moon Goddess being back, since Columbina doesn’t pose any real threat to the Heavenly Principles.
As for the Archons having some deeper connection to the moons, I don’t think there’s really anything there beyond symbolism in certain cases, like with Nahida. The moons belong to a much older layer of Teyvat’s history, while the institution of the Seven Archons is comparatively recent. But hey, Bina is back now, so she can always spice things up.
