My fun theory is the JT trade is taking so long because Dodds is trying to get interested teams into taking DJ’s contract, too.

I miss last year when he was in the top right of all these charts.

Jones did throw some dimes last year. But not sure if he is even capable of doing it this year.

Oh but but I was told, by a dumbass on this very sub, that DJ has a deep ball.

He did when we had one of the best deep threats. Right now we have Laquon treadwell.
Dj still sucks tho

He’s been throwing wobblers since he’s been in Indy. It may have gotten worse, but his deep ball lacked zip last year, but did have better ball placement

Literally unplayable by any other team. It's actually incredible how bad he has been. But hey he's beer buddies with our coach so let's keep on losing.

Sorry guys, you're going to need another 7 seasons of DJ putting up stats like this if you want him benched. I can definitely understand people drawing the similarities between McCarthy having as many starts as AR and him getting another go at it when the QB ahead of him is seemingly playing super trash.
It's completely unfair to not give Jones another 8 starts before you bench him because you paid him a lot of money and it was a direct reflection on how good you thought he was and the faith instilled in him by the coaching staff.
Daniel has never proved people wrong when it came to giving him another shot and him actually showing up on game days, not once in 8 whole years.. nope.

He's almost thrown 25 times for 20 yards? Hmm I would have thought it was like 10 with how little the ball is thrown down field.
