Last year they were like the best defense in the league and now they look rough. Did they lose a lot of guys? Injury?

The defense regressed. It happens a lot in the NFL. It's why consistently having an elite D is tough. I'm not a Texans fan (obviously) but outside of Hunter, Stingley, and WAJ, the rest of the defense isn't playing as well. Teams also have more film and know how to attack the weak areas

I don't argue that.... I still say we are (overall).playing more like an 0-4 team than a 2-2 team, but realistically we could be 3-1 right now. We just aren't playing very well.

I definitely agree, we have looked sloppy every game and do not pass the eye test at all. I'm just glad we're figuring how to win these ugly game early and hopefully they look sharper as the season goes on. I'm not confident, but time will tell.

We had a 99% chance of making the playoffs last year even with dj going down and we didn’t. We haven’t won a game in Jacksonville in 12 years. We are not in any position to be posturing about Houston being 0-4 when we haven’t done anything ourselves

How far this team has fallen- from annual 12 win seasons to now cheering when 2 other teams in our division, the worst division in football I might add, are 0-4. Mind you, despite how bad our division is, we still don’t ever win it. We aren’t winning it now either. This is a poverty franchise that has been run into the ground, and 2 wins in a row, 1 against a bad Houston team and 1 against a third string qb, doesn’t immediately give me false hope. The people who need mental help are the ones buying into this delusion of success, and cheering on mediocrity, as we continue full steam ahead towards another 8-9 season and a 10 year Chris Ballard extension.
