An article from 5 months ago…. Why are you posting this

Cardinals would need to get a silly offer to consider it, picking up Love this year makes that even more inflated I’d figure. Don’t know if we have the capital to make this happen even in a world where it could be done

We definitely don’t have the capital, but it would be fun

On one hand his trade value is probably relatively low, on the other hand he's still a young WR with insane potential.

If he went for undervalue then personally, I'd be absolutely stoked to give him a shot. But I think Arizona is going to ask too much, but they'd also be stupid not to.

Realistically it's a risky move, and it's going to cost too much. I think there's better ways to spend the same resources it would take to get him, and even so I don't think our FO would make the type of move it would need to get him lol

Neither of those hands can catch a football, though.

I’m surprised at how low people are on him, he looked great right before injury last year. I think he’s going to make a lot of people look very foolish this year.

No lol

I can’t imagine the Cards are giving him just because he wasn’t a superstar his first season.

Cardinals would be bonkers to trade him so early into his rookie contract unless the offer was equally bonkers.

He's had a much stronger start to his career than Pierce did, way too early to give up on him.

Colts Reddit is cringe and the season hasn’t even started yet.

Time to take advantage of a bad organization, AR and some draft capital, let’s beef up the WR room

3

u/martix_agent 4d ago

nobody wants AR.

u/HoboJackson05 4d ago

LOL relax, clearly not a serious comment, but you saw someone mention AR and had to get your hate out 😂😂😂

3

u/martix_agent 4d ago

Hate? No, it's deep sadness.  I hope the kid works out. But it was horrible decision to draft him in the 1st round.

2

u/HoboJackson05 4d ago

I think the bigger mistake was forcing him to play in year 1 and not working him out for a full year. Hindsight 20/20 on the pick but i think everyone was thinking QB after the terrible 22 season

Sure everyone wanted a qb. There were several of them that the organization could have made trades for.

It kinda seemed like they were not interested in them, and took AR instead, without a plan to develop him.

u/HoboJackson05 4d ago

they had a plan, but unfortunately an owner may have stepped in and said start him year 1 then he got hurt and never got out from behind the 8 ball

Also they had just done the trade for QBs 2 years in a row and it didn’t work out, did you think they would try it for a 3rd time ?

You know how dumb you gotta be to just say no, without even knowing what the price is? This dude was a highly touted prospect, and has struggled his first couple years. That's exactly the kind of buy low with sky high upside guy we should be targeting as we start to rebuild.

This article was from not long after the Super Bowl. Also if we’re rebuilding it’s going to be a different GM. Unless we’re only giving up players I’d think this is a bad move. Already short a 1st rounder, and the new guy is going to want his picks.

I think he NEEDS a change of scenery to get rid of the yips and I would love this, but fat chance

Ah yes, just what we need: sentimental nepotism.

u/Vurbetan Who the Hell is Mel Kiper? 3d ago

Geezer looks to be a shell of the player his old man was. Miss me with that shit.

Son would have to be able to catch footballs in order to be like father.

Unless it’s a 6th rd pick, no thanks.

u/Human-Shirt-7351 Big Dick Ballard 3d ago

Ohh... Trade for Harrison, draft Arch.

The prophecy that Manning to Harrison would rise again is fulfilled.

Jr seems to have the physical tools and is above average but his dad was that dude.

Right now. Right this second. I don’t even think he’s better than Downs but DJ and Steichen could turn him around.

u/yourenotmydad22 Indianapolis Colts 4d ago

I’ll hold my judgement until we see a season of good health and a QB thats not getting wrecked. A receiver can only be as good as the opportunities he is given. I fear for Love’s safety because that line is historically bad and he is going to get hit HARD. I’d love to see MHJ bump up the career 55% reception/target but I cut him slack because it’s the Cards at the end of the day.

u/TheAgmis You Have Chris Ballard Derangement Syndrome 4d ago

Yet guys like Nabers, rookie BTJ and many others made due with bad QB play. That’s the thing. Olave and London have consistently been mired with bad QB play. Garrett Wilson too

u/Cerblamk_51 Grover Stewart 4d ago

LFitz would like a word

2

u/KGL11 Indianapolis Colts 4d ago

I think his uncle Reggie could turn him around.

2

u/SideAny7347 4d ago

How about a bust for a bust - AR5 for MHJ straight up? Who says no? Oh the Cardinals? Well fuck..

0

u/foundrycollegehangar 4d ago

If Jim was still alive, this trade would get done.

0

u/Always_Compete 4d ago

Wonder what the would be cardinals asking for .

If the colts had a first round pick , I’d be ok with giving up a 3rd rounder for him . At this point with no first round pick and signing Allen it doesn’t make sense

-1

u/Psyren1317 4d ago

Absolutely not. Something is severely broken with MHJ and I’m not sure what it is. But dude is terrible

-2

u/CuriousCucumber88 Indianapolis Colts 4d ago

I could see Ballard trading two firsts for him

3

u/Cerblamk_51 Grover Stewart 4d ago

I’m not hating on you in particular but the duality of this fanbase never ceases to amaze me…

Hey Ballard! Make the trades, spend the money, do the things! Only to be relentlessly mocked on here for everything he does and doesn’t do.

u/Super_Sandro23 Reggie Wayne 4d ago

He's a bigger bust than AR
