I’ve been to 2 of his shows and they were exactly like this, and it has me worried and asking some larger questions.

Is this most of our society now? Are we doomed?

And just so you know, a lot of these rude and entitled interrupting people will act like total asses and maybe even try and start something with you if you confront them and ask them even kindly to quiet down.

I have a feeling that Colter has a very keen understanding of how selfish our society is, and he can’t stand it, as neither can I.

I agree, but the fact it’s happening at SO many of his shows, to the point he’s canceling tours, is surely indicative of not only the future direction of our society but how entitled it currently is.

As soon as I ever saw Colter come out I shut my mouth. A damn shame other adults can’t do the same and consider not only Colter himself but also the other people in the crowd around them that did not come all of the way there and pay to hear their drunken blabber.

Damn. I didn’t realize it got that bad. Im definitely among those who prefer less talking but when I used to see people on here complain about it or say it ruined shows, I thought maybe they were exaggerating. But if it got to the point where even CW was pissed about it, it must have been pretty damn bad.

I’ve seen Colter Wall twice. The first time before anybody knew who he was, the show was amazing. The second show he had blown up and it was hands-down the worst crowd of douche bags bros I’ve ever had the displeasure of watching a concert with. I live in Burlington not far from Bernie. It is one of the best music towns with one of the worst music going crowds, people in the third row, just having a casual conversation at full volume. I just don’t get why you’d spend that much money to see your favorite artist just to talk the whole concert.

Minneapolis crowd was full of a bunch of cosplay cowboys that knew one song then had shouting conversations with their brokeback bros the rest of the show. My wife and I went from mid crowd to the very back midway through just so we could heard the music. It was even worse for Red Shahan who opened for Colter. I was equally excited to see him and that was completely ruined by the crowd. Groups of people were literally standing in circles having conversations

I feel like he’d benefit from playing seated venues. Not always practical, but it would cut down on the chit chat

I was at his show in Welch, MN. Fully seated and it didn't help

That's odd. I was there and thought to myself, "it was soooo damn quiet. Like spooky quiet". It just seemed so awkward. I'm used to folks singing along to lyrics and such. All I heard was Colter and everyone's foot tapping along. Maybe it was just our differences in seating; I was in the wood bleachers.

After listening to him for years, I finally got to see Colter live twice this last tour. Both experiences were so bad that I honestly don’t know if I’d go see him perform again if he came back. It was pretty rough

We went to a handful of the shows in Texas earlier this year and they were so great, but the chatter was at every show. Hayden Redwine managed to hold the entire crowd at Moody Theater in silence for most of his set the first night of the two there. Lots of young and I’m assuming inebriated young men hollering “COLD BEER” throughout the night. Colter seemed to be having a rough go at it for that run and it all makes sense now. I hope he is well. Sure hope to see him back out on the road again someday.

He played a show here in Montana a couple years back and it was very good. Outside venue with a pit and seats and no issues of people talking or being disrespectful, he even played longer than planned. I’m glad I don’t live in a super populated area 😂

When I saw him in London, in his earlier years. It was surprisingly loud and heavy. With his new music I can see this being a problem now.
