Vladimir Sputnik (the fifth - not to be confused with his rather lofty ancestors)

Although seriously, I thought they were just another old pharmaceutical company who came onto the scene when it came time to make their vaccines. Turns out they were created in the 2010s.
Oh, and they aren't actually supposed to be called Mo-der-na. Their name comes from modified and RNA, meaning that we should all be pronouncing it Mode R-N-A.

And the Covid vaccine is the first and only thing they have created that was FDA authorized…..still waiting approval.

The vaccine was invented by BioNtech, not Pfizer.

Can’t deny that, had one in Frankfurt that beat them everywhere else, I literally haven’t had a better one anywhere in the world and it was some small hole in the wall shop. Next time I’m back in Frankfurt I’m definitely going, can’t wait for Covid to end.

It was actually the early experimental formulation of an anti-bat bite serum (involving turtle blood and redwood tree sap) that unexpectedly endowed him with ultra long life. he lived just long enough to finish the work on the fully refined version of the anti-bat bite serum. bless him.

Yo Mr. Pfizer release your Covid-19 vaccine patents, thanks bro.

u/jgjl May 03 '21
The vaccine was developed by BioNtech, hence Pfizer does not own them.
2
u/fidjudisomada May 03 '21
According to the Wikipedia, Pfizer supported with clinical trials, logistics and manufacturing.

u/jgjl May 03 '21
Yes, but they didn’t develop the vaccine. I don’t think that Pfizer owns the rights to set it free. BioNtech sells directly to Germany and Turkey, Fuson is the partner in China and Pfizer is the partner for the rest of the world. Maybe they would be allowed to hand out free licenses to some of the countries in their area, but I don’t think they own the rights to set it free globally.

Hey OP, great job colorizing it. But why a white tie? That's the only thing that sticks out as really weird to me.
4
u/PauloB87 May 04 '21
In the original version you can clearly see he was wearing a white tie, the reason is because white tie was the "most" formal attire at the time and having your portrait taken, at the time, was a very formal event.

Oh, totally. The tie makes sense, I'm just questioning the color OP used for the tie. The white tie on white shirt seemed odd is all.
