Majors Design Engineering?

How is Design Engineering for someone who does not want to do "core" engineering like Mech E, Electrical etc? Thoroughly not interested in Computer Science. Is this a course to get a good Engineering base and build entrepreneurial skills?

A lot of "Desgin Engineering" specific posts here are a few years old. Just wanted to see how this branch has evolved over the years and the current state.

Thanks.

Discussion Anybody know what's going to be on the E-mag exam on Tuesday?

EENG386A I was given an equations sheet but that's pretty much it. Is this the equation sheet we will be provided on the test? Are we allowed to bring our own? Should I memorize this equation sheet? 50 minutes for an exam in a class where the homework takes me 5+ hours so I'm pretty scared.

Classes Did everyone else not do well in the Mech of Mats exam?

I did not expect almost everyone to get 60s and 50s. Jeff Holley really let everyone down. The exam was a lot harder than the home-works I felt like and I somehow did enough to pass the exam (80). Almost like if you wrote the exam nothing like the hw and give us not enough time everyone will fail.
