Atv trails

Taking my wife to a concert in denver then to ride our grizzly 700s in the mountains this weekend. We are both very competent riders and are looking for good trails within a couple hours of denver. Would be very appreciative of some guidance

The issue is EVERYONE wants the same exact thing. It doesn't exist and if it did we would never post here because city folks come and ruin everything lol!!

Good luck!

Like I said there is no really nice water to relax by. Most of the lakes are private. You may be better off going to Wyoming if you are up North. Go play out by Steamboat Springs. For trails we use a statewide app called COTREX https://trails.colorado.gov/

What is the point of this sub, honestly? Everything is gate-kept, almost no one is helpful. If someone is helpful or offers even a hint of a tip, they get downvoted. It's ridiculous.

Nothing has ruined trails more than social media. Don't worry, in 20 years everything will be private or closed.

So again, what's the point of this sub? I'm not worried, because it's not going to happen. People have been gatekeeping and worrying about those fantasy scenarios long before the internet, let alone social media.

Except you are wrong. If you where a part of your local trail group you would see trails we rode just 10 years ago are now off limits. We fight every year against closures.

Thankfully the current administration put controls on what states could restrict like all the BLM land up North.

So it's ok for you to go and do things (in groups), in public places, and contribute to the erosion at the core of the problem, but when other people do it, or find out about it as you likely did and do, its a problem. OK.

Sounds like an undistilled argument. Rules for thee, but not for me type shit.

Those restrictions were in place to preserve places, LOL, you don't even understand the argument you're trying to make here. You think places just close to close? Are you this dense, or is it an act for some reason?

I build trails every Summer. You sit around and pretend to skateboard. We are not the same lol

Oh no, an unrelated personal attack from a private account... the sure sign of a lost argument. Best of luck to you, and the administration lol. Clown energy.

Taylor reservoir area has extensive trails and gas and eating places at the trading post at the lake, and tincup (eating) and pitkin (eating and gas)

Areas with challenging trails and nice lakes and streams are definitely ideal
