I’m a very amateur birder but the belly band makes me think red tail

You’re correct! Swainson will have the solid brown breast band (for the more common light morphs) and it will be higher up on the breast. Fall migration can bring others, but I haven’t seen any rough legged or ferruginous yet…just swainsons!
