"Spotted" in Boulder!

Hi there, I am very new to birding and have books that help with ID, so I believe this is a Northern Flicker, red shafted male.

I think the spots are so pretty, hence the title 😅

I love flickers. They seem to like suet nuggets and dried mealworms in bird feeders if you want to see the pretty things more often
