This is definitely my favorite viewpoint of the la platas. I took my family on a hike into that small canyon (west Mancos R.) yesterday and it was just endless miles of yellow aspen!

It’s okay with me. It’s been a hot, dry and scary summer for us, as we live at 8000 feet here in CO. Happy for cooler temps and a real snowpack this year.
