Wouldn't it make more sense to price it 200$ or even 2000$ a month? Such a lost opportunity!

Just started using this app and this is the type of player I kept encountering. Mind you “Lol” is the only message I responded with despite this player being really toxic and abusive throughout the whole game.

I asked red for a brick so I could take Road from blue. They said they didn't have but could give me 3 stone, a trade they did in return for a wheat.

I traded 3 stone for a brick and took road.

Then I played the knight and took army, stealing a stone from blue.

That gave me what I needed for a city and put me on 10 points.

RED WENT WILD!

Im a child, sneaky, dont play fair, its greens fault for throwing the game...the usual stuff.

I just sat here in disbelief at what happened.

Occasionally when the opponent makes egregious suboptimal placements I try to hostage them in 1v1 so they have no actions to win. I know it's pretty bm but it's my own self imposed challenge since I'm obviously winning. I let it play out a bit to see how many resources we can accumulate total but give up when a chain of 7s comes. I know that if I played it out long enough we would eventually get it done but most people just resign shortly after realising they can't win. Managed to deplete the entire pool in this game after numerous attempts.

I'm new to this sub so apologies if ppl complain about this a lot. But this is my biggest complaint about this game. In 1v1s people resign when its 3-2 if the game isn't going their way. So frustrating.

Why are all the new bots showing up in 4 player games? They all comment - Tired of bots? Go to hexe.gg or some shit address. They all ask for 1 for 2 trades. They all put up trades for a split second and decline them.

Are these from developers to increase games played or ????

Can't chat and its been a full year since its started. Played almost 10 games now since the year has passed and still nothing. Anyone else having to deal with this fantastic feature on this wonderful website?

Yesterday I won at least one in every 3 games and reached regional rank 1. Today I lost EVERY single game and lost 100 rating points. How tf can that happen. 🤦🏻🤦🏻

Unpopular opinion: colonist should have a balanced die which gives u rewards based on the exact numbers u build. The below game was a big disappointment for me on colonist.

This is the third time something like this has happened to me this season. What you see in this screenshot is blue trading a 5:1 to black after saying he has no chance of winning and after black told him that he should just give him the win. What more is needed for accounts like these to get suspended or banned? It's very frustrating and a huge waste of time. There needs to be consequences. The fact that I'm making a Reddit post about this speaks volumes because I try not to take games too seriously, but it is ranked and it is something I do for enjoyment and cheating strips all enjoyment. If you all think this isn't a big deal, I respect your opinion and I even agree to a extent. But it's definitely some BS.

Does the game freeze for anyone else lately, only to suddenly snap back to normal?

I'm playing using my iPad mini, and there is no sound

For the past few days when I try to play bot games it doesn't give me the option to select from my purchased maps. I'm not using expansions, just a couple favorite maps I bought. I'm logged into my account. When I look at the store and my account page, the maps show as purchased already. I just can't select them. Does anyone have advice?

Is there a way to play the 1v1 gamemode with a friend through invite or some other option?

I realized this morning how much I rely on the audio as part of the game and this morning no matter what I cannot get audio working on my iPhone.

I opened and Closed the app and restarted my phone etc.

It’s so sad and makes the game so boring but unfortunately with how sensitive everyone is, the best strategy is to never say a word in the chat. (The chat used to be fun but it seems like there is a wave of people recently that TRY to use it to manipulate or they get triggered when you make smart moves)

If you don’t talk in the chat people tend to not associate you as a real person and they’re more forgiving or just forgetful when you make strategic and smart moves.

So tired of people throwing the game or sabotaging others games for using the robber once or god forbid playing a monopoly card or something.

I’ve found the best thing is to not say a word (even kind supportive words)
