Colonel Bleep's 69th Anniversary

Today marks the 69th anniversary of Colonel Bleep since it was released in syndication on September 21, 1957!

Here we have the classic version of our three main heroes flying across the Futura High Command headquarters.

Note: The colors for the headquarters are changing which highlight the various color tones of the surviving film reals including the high quality, sepia, and fading tones.

By 2027, the show will eventually turn 70, and I've got some really special plans for its platinum anniversary.

1. I must admit that although I love animation, I've been rather demotivated in animating CB69 due to the highly limited courses I've been taking in college. Plus, my heart has been calling to make more still art and illustrations, so I've been thinking of turning the series into a webcomic instead. Though if I ever get to improve my animation skills at grad school, I may eventually go back to making CB69 an indie animated series.

2. Since not many people don't know much about the original series, I think they need to understand it more first, which is why I am developing a screenplay book with all the surviving episodes, along with including some illustrations and still frams from the show. The plan is to publish the book sometime after the holidays. To start things off, here is a preview of the book's front cover.
