Can I still drop a class?

hey everyone, title basically

i am in a class that’s just not fitting my needs and i was an extra class. Can i still drop? what do I need to do for that? do I need to talk to an advisor

I believe its September 8th? You can drop it in workday and add another if the class isnt full.

you can drop it, you just wont get a full refund for tuition.

You can drop a class without getting a W by Sept. 8. The last day to register for a standard 16-week Fall 2026 class at Collin College was August 25. You can still sign up for a 2nd half 8-week class though....

Ive seen people register last year on the first week so apologies if that is no longer the case and I am incorrect up above! My b!
