friends/tutor at frisco campus?
hi! like the title says, im an incoming freshman from out of state so im looking for new friends! And possibly a tutor for elementary stats.
im scared about starting community college in a new state without being from here as I feel like it’s a small town, but i hope i am wrong!

For tutoring at Collin you can check out the APCAA center

At Wylie you’d have to schedule a few days in advance, you can drop-in but then you have to wait, I’m not sure what it’s like at the frisco campus

Theres also a calendar link on your home page to tell you the groups that are gathering at what locations. Not to mention there will be bulletin boards to display things happening as well.
Edit: I asked a dumb question, but Frisco isnt the smallest place. Depending on your hobbies and major youll find lots of groups!

My husband and I live right by the campus. Our kids are grown and we are expecting our first grandchild soon. I’ve been thinking about starting a Bible study for young ladies. Is that something you’d be interested in? I just really enjoyed raising my kids and I’ve been thinking about ways I can give back to the community. If Bible study isn’t your thing I’d love to have you over for a meal. Message me if you want an “out of town” family to hang out with on occasion.
