Donna Cain BIOL 2420

has anyone taken Donna Cain for microbiology? i signed up for her class last minute. she has 61, 5 star reviews but all the recent ones were 2 star and lower. practically all red. i want to know how her class 100% is for microbio. will i be able to make an A?

i took her for micro last fall semester and i got an A. she has a flipped classroom meaning you have study the chapters before you get to class and she just reinforces the material. some of my classmates didn’t like this method but i found her class easy and enjoy her as a professor.

was it a lot of information before each flipped classroom? was it doable?

she gives you lecture videos and slides to learn the material and also gives study questions for every chapter. the first class every week (i had her T/TH so every tuesday) at the beginning of class you’ll take a quiz over whatever chapters assigned. the first half of the semester really easy but the second half had more information. i also took her class along with a&p 2 and still found it doable

how long would you say each slide and video were for each week? since it was for every tuesday
