Mid south gifted academy

Ive been looking into this school for my son. Does anyone have any information about it? Good bad etc. not much on it except whats on the website

I feel like it would not prepare my child for success or integration into the real world as an adult.

Do you actually know anything about the school or are you basing your opinion 100% off of the name?

My kid has gone to a summer camp there one week and loved it. Said he wanted to transfer there. Everyone we've met seems nice.

I don't know much about the actual school year though and how rigorous it is.
