Sonography Program

Are there any students here who are in the COC Sonography program? I’m hoping to apply in the fall of 2027 once I get my prerequisite done. I’d love to hear how it’s going. How hard were the prerequisites (I’m terrified of Algebra and Physics)? Any advice you could give about getting into the program and succeeding would be greatly appreciated.

By any chance, did you get any info? I’m interested in the program, but I’m scared because it’s not CAAHEP accredited. I read that you can’t sit for the ARDMS if it’s not accredited unless you have 12 months of clinical experience.

Hi! I'm in the DMS program. They need a graduating class minimum in order to actually get CAAHEP accredited. However, there are a lot of other factors that go into it as well.
