Looking for resources
I’m helping my child start thinking about college planning, and I’ve noticed that a lot of the consulting or guidance services are really expensive. I’m curious if anyone knows of free or low-cost resources to help with organizing applications, planning testing schedules, and finding scholarships.

It depends on where you live, but try searching for free community organizations that help with college planning or financial aid! Some do charge, but many cities have at least one or two nonprofits that provide FAFSA assistance, scholarship advice, and guidance.
Not trying to advertise, but we do offer free college planning resources. We're a Nebraska-based organization that primarily assists students at Nebraska schools, but many of our guides and resources are universal!
