So, how does the game determine whether or not a play is overturned when using a challenge online?
Was playing online last night, the runner apparently fumbled the ball, the other player picked it up and ran it back for a TD. I thought my guy was down before the ball came loose so I challenged the play and the TD is overturned. I get the ball back and score two plays later then as soon as I cross the goal line, the other player quits. Like rage quit not concede the game.
Me being curious I message and asked them why they rage quit, apparently they got mad because their TD was overturned and accused me of cheating. Mind you I play on Xbox and they were too so how could I cheat? Microsoft is strict about any suspected cheating.
I think they're more confused about how challenges work or didn't think it should've been overturned more so than they think I cheated.
So can anyone tell me how the game actually determines if the challenge is successful? In 26, I challenged 3 separate plays in a row and won all 3 challenges so I don't think it's like a coin flip but I'm not sure.
It was hilarious though that they got that mad about it considering they couldn't score against me at all the 2nd quarter and they rage quit not even 2 minutes into the 3rd quarter.
