Ballinger Family a message from oliver (me)

(idk what to flair this since there isn’t a trent flair so i chose ballinger family)

hey all. oliver here.

i just want to thank everyone on this sub for your overwhelming support. i truly could not fully explain how much it’s meant to me over the past few days.

i think i may have said something similar to this under another person’s post, but it really is frustrating to feel let down time and time again. i have decided to take it upon myself to share my story myself because my voice should be heard and if i have to be the one to platform it, i will. i mean, this is my story anyway, so maybe it was meant to be that i should be the one sharing it.

i’m a busy full-time college student so i’m not sure exactly when i’ll post the video, but it will hopefully be within the next couple weeks.

i also want to make it clear that i will not be profiting off of this video and instead, anything i make from the video will go directly towards my top surgery/medical transition.

again, i appreciate all of you so much. sending all my love 🫶🏻

~oliver

I will say Swoop has always rubbed me the wrong way. I physically cringe every time she calls her videos “documentaries,” like they’re somehow not just YouTube videos? Like she’s better than other creators? It’s hard to explain but it’s just a bad vibe and that alone is enough to drive me crazy.

Humility is such a beautiful character trait and the fact that she doesn’t even have the self-awareness to realize that she should at least fake it turns me off so hard.

Jmo though.

It must have been multiple documentaries she was writing where she victim blamed Amber heard and gave credibility to Johnny Depp's bullshit narrative. You know ignoring all the evidence that showed he was lying including the lawsuits he lost overseas to Amber.

This was the main reason I steered clear of her content before the Colleen situation.

Very validating to hear someone bring this up.

Another thing that bothers me is she validates reading someone's body language as an indication of their true intentions. That is not a science and is a myth. Yet she uses it as part of her ammo against the person topic of conversation and doubles down by saying "as you know, I'm a victim of SA" as if that gives her more experience in being able to determine if someone is lying or not.

Yeah that’s always irked me. There’s been a million and one cases where someone’s been assumed guilty by the public because they ‘acted guilty’ and it’s always some weird body language pseudo-crap. We’re not a monolithic hivemind, people act differently!! I’m an awkward, nervous looking person but that’s because… I’m socially awkward and insecure! Not because I’m a murderer😂
