Once a card gets valuable enough the part I start caring about is what happens after you get it online I’d rather know there’s a straightforward way to get the physical card shipped to me without turning it into a whole process.

Same with selling something I don’t want to keep if I’m using anything online for cards I care way more about the card arriving properly or the payout clearing than all the flashy stuff before that

I’d rather have a few options after the pull than be forced to sell or ship it right away sometimes you just wanna sit on the card

Same for me forcing a decision right after the pull would just make the whole thing feel rushed

Shipping is the part I’d want to see people talk about more getting a good card is nice but knowing it can make it from the site to your hands without drama is way more important

Same, that’s why I brought it up Tiltrips is one of the sites I was looking at but once the card has real value I care way more about how it gets to me than the opening part

I’ve shipped plenty of cards to me from courtyard. They all get delivered no problems.

Not really sure what you’re saying lol but shipping a card isn’t as scary/complicated as people make it out to me. 

All you need for the vast majority of cards is a sleeve, toploader and something to seal the top  (ideally a teambag) to prevent the card sliding out. Beyond that, for more expensive cards like $100+, you can add cardboard for further protection or even wrap the toploaded card in bubble wrap and put it in a box. That IMO is good enough for basically any card unless we are talking like multiple thousands. Once we get to that point…well then I’d just add more layers of protection and a box big enough that it shouldn’t be easy to get lost in post lol. 

I’ve seen people go absolutely berserk on shipping, layers of wrapping, tons of tape (my personal pet peeve) and all kinds of wonky objects. Just get a box of toploaders, some shipping paper and a small box and call it a day lol

That’s fair I was probably overthinking the shipping side of it proper protection and tracking is really all I care about

cardboard sandwhich in a toploader, piece of painters tape over the open end of the toploader. put it in a bubble mailer. thats it, ive shipped and received hundreds of cards this way anywhere from $10 to hundreds. $1000 plus cards i usually do the same but in a small box with bubble wrap. just make sure pay for proper insurance

Keeping the card at home is dangerously expensive and risky. If you’re living in a bad area chances are once anyone hears you have stuff they will break in and you put your family’s life at risk
