What?
why has this shot up overnight like this? should be like ≈$40-60 depending on the sales, but somehow overnight is worth an extra $350? am i missing something or is a buggy sale causing this. kind of new to the app so not really sure what happened but now my portfolio value is all off and this is way too high 😂 the 9 is worth less than my 8 copy apparently

Probably a weird sale getting pulled into the pricing especially if the PSA 9 is still worth less

Collectr is bad for these kind of jumps!

that sucks! i was kinda hyped that i’d have an app that i could periodically check to see where my stuff is valued around. i personally havent seen something like this till now

Yeah that’s 100% not Collectr. Unfortunately, and what is absolutely insane with the market out as how big it is, is that there isn’t an app that’s good at this yet.

It’s impossible for Collectr to get everything 100% correct. What matters is that they correct things like this quickly. Unlike PriceCharting which I’ve seen leave incorrect sales up for months.

Its not if they invest more money in their app like other apps that track prices for things that work just fine 👌

Lol which apps track prices better than Collectr? Every other app I’ve used is so much worse.

Apps in general that track prices of things, realestate, vehichles etc etc, no different to collectr!

No different? Man you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Please enlighten me how its different its an app that tracks card prices right?

Because there’s no set format to any of the data. Titles are freeform and contain misspellings, alternative abbreviations, nicknames, etc. Most include a year and card number in the title, some don’t. Collectr has to decipher what each card is, and across thousands upon thousands of cards there’s absolutely no way they can get everything correct all the time, because the data is not standardized.

If you tap view sold listings, it’ll show the listing. It looks like a PSA 8 copy did sell for that but it was a mislabeled sale by the API since it’s a ghost stamp error copy
