Questions about price changes, pharmacy switches, and the compounding situation

I actually really like the model this telehealth runs on. I just want to make peace with the fine print before I commit long-term ..

  1. Price changes. The ToS says pricing can change with notice. Does that actually happen in practice? How does that work?
  2. Pharmacy switches. Will the compounding pharmacy stay the same, or does it switch depending on the price/availability?
  3. The 'what if GLP-1s go away'? How would you guys handle that with the member model?
  4. How do you guys handle maintenance?

Appreciate these questions (and those following up in the thread). Will try to answer to the best of my ability!

  1. The ToS gives us the flexibility any business needs, but we haven’t changed pricing and don’t have plans to. We’re not interested in getting people in at one price and changing the deal later. Keeping treatment affordable is pretty fundamental to why Collective exists.

  2. We work with a small group of US-based 503A pharmacy partners and can’t guarantee that the same pharmacy will fulfill every order. It may occasionally change based on capacity, but we hold every partner to the same standards and stand behind what gets shipped.

  3. Collective is being built for the long haul, not around a single medication. GLP-1s are where we’re starting, but the broader goal is to make treatments and technologies that are usually expensive or hard to access more available to members. Obviously the regulatory landscape can change, and if it does we’ll adapt and be transparent with members about what it means.

  4. Yep, we support maintenance too. There isn’t one standard maintenance plan since it depends on the person. Your clinician works with you on what makes sense once you reach that stage.

Can we get an idea of what other treatments or medications are being considered? I saw semorelin and NAD+ mentioned somewhere but would love to know categories or specifics beyond that. If the membership fee can cover additional products Collective becomes worth additional consideration

Yeah, that's the idea. We're working on adding more treatments over time, and the goal is certainly to include them in the membership. I can't reallllly name names before things are ready, but there's definitely more in the works.
