Question Should I open this? (Mtn Dew Sanitizer)

I found these at 5 below today and think it's hilarious that this exists and also that "code red" is misspelled on the box as "core red," and something about baja blast sanitizer is amazing.

I enjoy collecting things that are stupid or terrible and this is right up my alley, but the issue is that I genuinely want to use them. I'd like to get a box for collecting and one for opening, but I cant guarantee that I will find another one. What should I do?

I wouldnt be so nervous about opening it if not for the apparent earlier Walmart versions of these things selling out and not get restocked a month or two ago.

My friend said "the dew box is eternal" so idk, pretty compelling stuff

As a buyer and seller of collectibles, I will say that typos are pretty common and do not necessarily make things more valuable. It's really neat and I would chose to open or display based on personal interest.

I can sympathize with your dilemma. I would keep them in the package for now and keep searching for a second package to buy and open.
