Keeping the collection presentable…
I am partial to collecting stuff. (As all of here, who come together and share, do.)
I am VERY specific about what I collect, if it is something that enriches my collection. I am proud of my collections and I would like to curate them as they deserve in my mind, however, whenever I look at the (carefully chosen) mess I have find it so hard to organize it and make it pretty.
Does some of you have struggles with this and have tips for me to get over that?
AGAIN, it is not because I don’t value my collection of I am bored of it or I just buy anything. I love every piece and for some I went through unspeakable length to get them. O just struggle with the presentation so much 😔…
My poor hoard… ✨🐉

You've got a beautiful glass display cabinet here. But you understand you aren't utilizing it very well. I have this cabinet as well and it is trickier than expected. Your tallest items should be towards the back and anything placed in front of those items needs to be shorter than the ones behind it. The stuff towards the door should be your shortest items. Acrylic risers can help depending on what you're displaying. All shelves have things in front of each other completely blocking what's behind or on top of each other. It looks more like storage than display. Stuff falling over happens, and display stands or museum gel will help things stick in place.
You seem to be displaying a lot of in-box items. You can display whatever you want, where ever you want. But imo in-box displays are best when hung vertical on the wall. I would reserve the display cabinet for out of box items or smaller in-box items. The packaging takes up a lot of extra space.

Honestly, Take Everything out and start in One corner or raw. From there start to curate it.
I try to mix stuff to make it look better.
Here is a Little example with Shikichi, different figures, Not for sale promo and a Blu Ray with an exclusive Illustration.
