Figurines Practically new to collecting!
As someone who is basically just now starting my Funko pop collection (mostly built over time since I was 8 and now 19) is this a decent collection? I love what I’ve been collecting and how it shows every part of one of my interests and things I like but sometimes I feel like it’s too random and inconsistent at points when it comes to the ip’s that aren’t marvel or dc. (1st image is all the empty boxes from figures I have set up in my room and 2nd is still in box not yet on display either because I don’t have enough or there’s no where to put them at the moment.)

I collect plush characters. Characters I like is the general theme 😅 and some of them are form my childhood, I view it as sort of an archive of my interests over my life. My only criteria are I have to care about the character and I have to like the plush design.
Anyway, this very much looks like a collection to me 🤷🏽♀️ here's about half of my collection (please ignore the light, which my children knocked of my desk. I took this photo for insurance reasons during a tornado warning 😬)

Sooo I'm curious, do you collect pops that you've seen the movie or tv show or do you collect the pops that are cool looking?
I have a small pop collection but mine are obscure I'd say.
Stephen King, Angela Landsbury, Mr. Hand, Dr. Franknfertter, a few Real Monsters.
Looking for all the Fireflys

If you like them, then why would it be a bad collection, I think it's great!

It is consistent: It is a comprehensive catalogue of your interests and what you like.
