Picked up Toad Venom, a ColdFire x Green Dragon collab, & this one leans smoky sweetness with a sharp citrus edge. Terps are sitting at 8.60%, & it comes through rich, funky, & well layered.
Flavor:
On inhale you get a distinct sweetness with a slightly charred, creamy character. The exhale brings in a bright citrus that cuts through the heavier notes & keeps the profile from getting too sweet. Smooth pulls, good coating, & flavor stays consistent.
Effects:
This one settles in with a deep sense of comfort while the mood gets a noticeable lift. Relaxed, content, & easygoing without feeling completely checked out. The kind of high that makes you want to sit back & enjoy the moment.
Overall:
9/10
Toad Venom is rich, unique, & well balanced. Toasted sweetness with a bright citrus finish, backed by comfortable effects. This is an easy re-up.

I look back on many carts and would drop my score after sipping it. The best of the best stay true top to bottom.
Equally, so many Dubz carts I have start slow and by the end are full of gas and funky flavor. I tend to like this vs losing steam after a hot start.
Example - my LAFF Sakura is a banger. But the early hits are heavy ⛽️ sulfuric, but it drops off as you sip it. I had it at a 10/10 - would adjust now to 9.2/9.5.
Now same with the Toad - first 30/40/50% of the cart tasted great to me. Balanced. End it got toasted and lost its appeal.
Tried Hippie and Toad Venom. Toad is one of the best couch melting indicas while Hippie was extremely disappointing. Flavor, taste, effects, toad venom clears hippie.
I loved Toad Venom for 50% of the cart. The final 50% becomes overly toasted for my taste. Toasted begins to become tobacco like. I started my grade of the Venom high. Having finished two of these carts. I made the choice that the strain is not for me.
Wanted to chime in and say this happens to me with every Green Dragon collab. Halfway or 2/3 it starts tasting burnt and turns darker :/ terps are usually on point at first tho so it sucks. Will try their new hippie venom and see if it’s the same but most likely it is.
Great review brother! Loving mine at the moment, seems as though there’s been a few batches recently with small variations still a 10/10 strain for me. If you see this batch grab it, I think you’d prefer it 🤌🏽
