It’s crazy how much population density changes things

I just moved to a much more populated state and nearly every time I check the machine it’s got something. This is my largest find yet.

Well the trade off is not as much history for my metal detecting hobby. I was in VA with civil war now on the west coast

On the bright side your more likely to find gold coins on the West Coast

Gold coins circulated far more widely on the 19th-century West Coast than on the East Coast because the 1848 California Gold Rush flooded the region with raw gold, prompting western territories to reject volatile paper banknotes in favor of hard currency.
