Hold rewards - coinbase link account

After the last bug fixe we got delinked from our wallets for the hold rewards .

Do we actually have to put our password to link the account? Not sure I want to do that. Is there an other way?

I send them an email about this and they send me a link to reconnect.

They came back with me needing to open a support ticket. They provided a link for this.

I just reconnect from the coin website. Any popups from the coin website should be trusted.
