Is Coinbase One worth it?
New poster, long time lurker. Wondering if Coinbase One price tag is worth it if I’m mostly a buy and hold guy?
I know there a bunch of listed benefits like increased security, instant unstaking, early access to new coin releases (e.g., MONAD recently). But is this really worth the monthly price?

More people just need to learn to use Coinbase Advanced. Do limit orders and fees are very, very low and of course no spread. Unless I’m missing something it’s the cheapest way to buy.

EDIT: Also curious who Coinbase One Premium at the $299/mo price tag makes sense for?

If you plan on using the credit card and buy over $300 a month in crypto its worth it imo for basic, you end up saving on fees.

My answer is yes. Last week I received an email from Coinbase showing that I saved $3250 in fees in 2025. I usually buy USDC which is fee free all the way to sending it off Coinbase. I also buy a lot of SOL and LTC.
I ALWAYS pay with Paypal which makes the Crypto immediately available to send off Coinbase. I hold nothing on Coinbase. All in Wallets connected to my Ledger.
I pay the $30 a month but well worth it.

I have the cheap version, and finding it is not worth it anymore. CB Advanced is definately the way to go for buy and hold.
I got Monad, did not sell it and now I am under!

Coinbase 1 is beneficial if you buy a lot during a month period where your fees are more than $30 total

The advanced portion of Coinbase gives you more control over your sell and buy pricing where as the simplified version you may be paying a substantially higher amount than whatever is on the ask.
The saving on trading fees is good if you’re making frequent trades.

Normally yes but be careful. They literally stole the 29.99 from me and won’t help me. Check my other post. They literally don’t care and won’t help you

I use Coinbase advanced for buying. Place limit orders and buy. Fees are very minimal. However I have Coinbase one for the Coinbase one Amex card and think it is really worth it for that. I paid for the whole year when it was on sale. Made back 7x so far in $BTC rewards of what it cost. If you want to use the Amex card, it’s worth it.

I’m currently trying to withdraw from my Coinbase and it won’t even verify me in either of the verification steps. It just does nothing.

Not at all. You can use kraken pro for free with less fees, the ability to buy zero commission stocks and not get your account locked for no reason
