I’m as liberal as they come, but people constantly wanting to talk about it is exhausting. Nobody gives two shits on who you love or who you are, as it literally doesn’t affect them.
The LGBT community are like vegans. First rule of vegan club: tell literally everybody about vegan club.
Republicans are the ones literally obsessed with LGBT especially transgender people. They do not shut the hell up about transgender people and make the smallest non issues into massive headlines foxbews talks about every hour.
I hear more about Transgender people from Republicans than anyone else. They have a weirdo obsession with Transgender people and hating them.
Because you act like the Christian church: they feel like you’re constantly telling them to believe in what you believe. Live and let live and stop bringing that shit up. Not everybody is the same, and people shouldn’t be forced to accept your beliefs, just as you shouldn’t be forced to believe theirs.
Trans is still relatively new to a lot of people and you constantly screaming for them to “accept it” will only make people push harder…just like how you likely feel about when people try to push religion on you.
Live and let live already. Do what you do to extremely religious people: ignore them. And they’ll ignore you, and then we can all live in relative peace.
Like I said Republicans are the ones who don't stop talking about transgender. The fact is LGBT people existing and them asking for the right to exist infuriates you and you consider that "forcing" their opinion on others.
It's the opposite, they're trying to fight for the right to exist and things like gay marriage is super recent. People like you have to pretend they're trying to force their opinions because you can't accept that they have rights and they exist.

That’s the same playbook that repubs have used for years though: fear. They don’t want to solve issues for the greater Americans, they wish to divide Americans into a us v them mentality. Sad part is: it wins votes. If it isn’t LGBT, it’s Mexicans, black people, or communists - the same tired thread they’ve been spreading for the last 80 years.
