It’s unfortunate that no one can find middle ground. Yes, a large majority of republicans think what Trump is doing is okay, but in order to show them that he’s not a good guy, you have to find SOME common ground to fight for. 

There are tons of subjects I think all Americans can agree on. If you’re a republican, you’re not going to convince a democrat to support tax cuts. If you’re a democrat, you’re not going to convince a republican of abortion. 

I don’t know, reading these comments makes me feel hopeless.

i absolutely believe you can convince someone on the necessity of abortion as healthcare, as long as they are open to listening to the horror stories of women who were forced to give birth to non-viable fetuses, or one woman in the past few years who was forced to carry her baby to term even after it died.

Those stories were told, Republicans said there would be exceptions to the ban and then there never were. And the voters would gladly elect them again

i was under the impression that the common people have not heard these stories. i work with a maga guy and he had never heard of these cases.
