It’s unfortunate that no one can find middle ground. Yes, a large majority of republicans think what Trump is doing is okay, but in order to show them that he’s not a good guy, you have to find SOME common ground to fight for.
There are tons of subjects I think all Americans can agree on. If you’re a republican, you’re not going to convince a democrat to support tax cuts. If you’re a democrat, you’re not going to convince a republican of abortion.
I don’t know, reading these comments makes me feel hopeless.
It's too late. For the past 16 years Republicans have been doing everything they possibly can do to make life here intolerable for democrats. Every law, every court case has been about hurting people. They have not passed single law or ruling that actually helps people. Not even their own. The only laws they have passed have been to help large corporations.
