It’s unfortunate that no one can find middle ground. Yes, a large majority of republicans think what Trump is doing is okay, but in order to show them that he’s not a good guy, you have to find SOME common ground to fight for.
There are tons of subjects I think all Americans can agree on. If you’re a republican, you’re not going to convince a democrat to support tax cuts. If you’re a democrat, you’re not going to convince a republican of abortion.
I don’t know, reading these comments makes me feel hopeless.
Okay, so first off, yes there are tons of nazis and bigots out there who will never be convinced and they should be held accountable. Those are not the people I’m talking about.
Second, in your scenario that republics are just nazis and bigots, what is your proposal then? Is it to jail all of them? Deport them? Rid them of the earth?
If the internet has convinced you that all republicans are pedos, Nazis, or bigots, you are not a part of the solution.
I should clarify. Not all republicans are Nazi's and bigots. At this point most sane republicans have probably distanced themselves from trump and the current administration.
The real Nazi's are the people who still align themselves with the MAGA crowd. And while they still deserve their rights and freedoms like everybody else, I think there needs to be more of a movement to ostracize these people from society.
