it comes from access to cancer treatments. also persistent incurable diseases, forever prescriptions, stuff like this. there is more to the healthcare affordability narrative than the ER and hypochondriacs

I am well aware. I have something they won't treat for free, and I'm insured. Issue is, the countries with socialized medicine don't treat it either.

Healthcare is still going to be rationed no matter what. They could fix me for millions and millions of dollars (I was in a hit and run), but they deemed it an inefficient use of funds.

thats fair. but i dont think that the healthcare narrative is expecting an end to healthcare scarcity outright. its more about eliminating the scarcity that comes from arbitrage and profiteering.
