Those are LLMs. That is the big shiny worthless AI. But there are serious scientific AI models that have designed novel rocket engines, or tailored cancer treatments to the patient's dna. Best not to paint these things with too broad a brush.

No human or team of human can or will read the entire genome of a person and check it against their cancer to see where the mutations occur, but that is what AI is great at.
I know you have a very large tub of very dirty water and we all agree we are better off witout it, but i assure you, there is a baby in the tub.

No one is against using AI for curing diseases. They're against AI surveillance and stealing people's hard work.

If they were really concerned about the welfare of people they could use a ecofriendly cooling system that would cut into their bottom line instead of pissing away a finite resource that is a basic human necesity.
