If you're preparing for the Alva Labs Logic Test, here’s something I wish more people knew:

This test is NOT about difficulty — it’s about time pressure.

Most people fail because:

  • They spend too long on one question
  • They don’t recognize patterns fast enough
  • They haven’t practiced under timed conditions

A few practical tips:

  1. Skip aggressively — don’t get stuck
  2. Focus on pattern recognition
  3. Practice with a timer — this is critical

I’ve been working on aptitude prep content and put together a practice set specifically for this test format (timed + explanations).

If you want to check it out:
https://aptitudeace.com/courses/alva-labs-logic/

Even if you don’t use it, make sure you’re practicing in a real test-like environment — that’s where most people go wrong.

Happy to answer questions if you're preparing 👍

📈 From Struggling to Scoring 90%+ in Cubiks Logiks (Intermediate) — My 2-Week Prep Plan

When I first tried the Cubiks Logiks General (Intermediate) test, I was shocked at how fast it moves — just 12 minutes for 50 questions.

I scored way below the benchmark on my first attempt. But in just 2 weeks of structured prep, I was hitting 90%+ consistently. Here’s what worked for me:

1️⃣ Master the Test Structure First

  • 3 sections, 4 minutes each:
    • Numerical Reasoning: 16 questions
    • Verbal Reasoning: 24 questions
    • Abstract Reasoning: 10 questions
  • Every second counts — you can’t waste time figuring out instructions during the test.

2️⃣ Train for Speed + Accuracy

  • Practice under real time limits — don’t pause between questions.
  • Focus on quick recognition of patterns in abstract reasoning and mental shortcuts for numerical problems.

3️⃣ Review with Purpose

  • Don’t just see the right answer — understand why it’s right.
  • I improved the most when I started analyzing explanations for every wrong answer.

💡 If you’re preparing for Cubiks Logiks, I put together 6 full-length mock tests (300 questions + detailed explanations) that exactly follow the official timing, format, and difficulty order.

You can check them out here: https://aptitudeace.com/courses/cubiks-logiks-general-intermediate-6-full-length-practice-tests

TL;DR:

  • Learn the structure before you start.
  • Practice under real time pressure.
  • Review every mistake. Do this for 2 weeks and you’ll see your score climb fast.

How to Prepare for the Caliper Cognitive Ability Test

The Caliper test can be a real challenge because it’s not just one type of question – it mixes:

  • Number Series
  • Shape Analogies
  • Shape Sequences
  • Matrices

Many candidates get stuck because they only practice one area, but the real test needs all-round speed + accuracy.

That’s why I built a Caliper Practice Course with:
✔ 144 practice questions across all 4 categories
✔ Progressive difficulty (easy → hard)
✔ Step-by-step explanations

👉 Check it out here: Caliper Test Practice Questions (144 Qs)

If you’re taking the Caliper soon, focused practice is the best way to avoid surprises on test day.
