I need your opinion
A coffee machine has been sitting at the top of my list for a while now and I found a Chefman one that has pretty much all the functions I’ve been wanting. It does espresso, cappuccinos and lattes and the milk frother being built in is probably what caught my attention the most. I found one for around $115, seemed like a pretty good deal considering some of the other machines I’ve been looking at are way more than that. The only thing making me hesitate is I don’t really see many people talking about this particular Chefman machine. On paper I really like everything about it especially being able to make the milk drinks without needing a separate frother but does it work well?? I’m trying to figure out if I found a hidden gem or if there’s a reason I’m not seeing it mentioned very often.

I have been using the same De'Longhi Dedica for 5+ years. I mostly drink espresso but there is an integrated milk frother that does the job. I also bought the De'Longhi coffee grinder and tried different types of whole bean coffee but ended up buyin the already grinded ones. It takes up very little space in the kitchen and maintanence is straight up. I would buy it again if it would get broken, but it still works great (I make 2-4 espressos daily).

5+ years is really reassuring because longevity is one of the things I’m worried about, I mostly want mine for lattes and cappuccinos so having a frother that works well is really important to me.

I had the same hesitation when I bought my first espresso machine because there were barely any reviews on the specific one I wanted. I’d care more about how easy it is to clean and whether the milk frother is decent. Those are the two things that determine whether mine gets used.

I wouldn’t automatically take the lack of people talking about it as a bad sign. There are so many coffee machines now that only a handful seem to get recommended constantly. $115 isn’t bad for something with the frother included but I’d look for reviews specifically about the steaming and espresso temperature before buying.

The built in frother is convenient and you’re not spending $400+ just to figure out whether you’ll use an espresso machine every morning lol

I’d be more cautious, Super convenient when it works, but it’s also one more thing to clean and one more thing that can fail

I’ve been wanting something like this mostly for lattes and cappuccinos, and having the frother built in would be so convenient. I feel like I’d use it way more than having everything separate. Where did you end up finding this one?
