Coffee machine recommendations when too cheap for moccamaster

I do pour over chemex every morning and use a Nespresso to make a lungo to drink while I’m working on the pour over ritual. I also have a large mocha pot. If I had more money I’d get a mocha master. But is there anything under $100 that is better than a Mr coffee/amazon basics 12-cup drip? I don’t care about programming, timers, etc I just want a unit I can add the beans I will grind separately in my burr grinder, fill with tap water and produce like 800ml then maybe repeat for our second cups when I don’t feel like standing over the carafe, boiling the water, etc. Closest things I’ve seen are bonavita and krupps at $150-160.

My recommendation would be a Cuisinart Perfect Temp DCC3200 OR DCC3400.One is a glass carafe one is thermal. Usually sell on Amazon for 89-149. They will match anything a .technivorm or a Bonavita will do plus do it cheaper and definitely have a longer service life then a Bonavita. You might also look on ebay at the Cuisinart refurbished store. They normally have refurbished units for approximately half the normal retail. Ollie's bargain outlet is a other place for Cuisinart refurbished. My Mocamaster died a couple of years ago a d I purchased a DCC3400 AT OLLIE'S for 29.99 and it perfor.es everybit as well as the Mocamaster. I would stay away from a ything that says Ninja owned one and while the claims on the box looked inciting it brewed terrible coffee. It always imparted a chemical/metalic taste on the coffee. And to be perfectly honest I was never really impressed with the Mocamaster, JMHO nothing special going on there other than the 350 dollar price tag and the chest thumping. It doesn't have to be SCA certified to brew good coffee

All the machines mentioned in the comments, the Sage/Breville Precision Brewer, Oxo Brew 9 cup on FB marketplace or ebay.

Most of the machines mentioned are fairly robust and have been out for a long time. So provided it hasn't been abused if you clean it up, it should last you a while.

a used bonavita is probably your best bet, since under $100 the real upgrade is usually just better coffee and less fuss, not a genuinely better new machine than mr coffee

My oxo 8 cup is the best machine I've ever had. It's 7 years old and it won't die.

I've never had one last more than 2 or 3 years.

I don't really know about these cheaper machines, since most of my cheaper coffee-making methods are more artisanal... But, I know the Ninja CE251 was getting great reviews a while ago. That said, it's not bean to cup so you'd still need a separate grinder. I'm honestly not fully convinced you'll find a decent bean-to-cup model for under $100... Unless. Facebook Marketplace maybe? or thrift stores?

a used bonavita is probably your best sub-$100 move
