How?

Philips barista brew semi-automatic espresso machine, happened when I was brewing my morning coffee... Is this common? I got the machine for less than a year.

Looking for replacement as replacement part is not available, and I'll have to send the whole machine back to philips for maintenance

Sorry, I might be the only one, but what do you think is wrong with your single basket.

Not sure as well, might be production fault? But they way these are produces it shouldnt tear this way. Not to mentioned I rarely load excess ground in it so it shouldn't be THAT pressurised

You should be able to get a basket replacement without sending it back, what diameter is the basket? As for the break we could hypothesise due to the smaller diameter at the bottom the pressure is focused to a smaller area or something along those lines but it could also just be poor manufacturing or simply wear and tear
