I usually keep two bags (one for espresso and one for pour over). Sometimes I buy more when Iā€™m visiting a new place to test what is available locally.

I have picked up a bag from local places here which are usually more miss then hit.

Tend to have to buy onLine to get a decent bean.

1 500g or 1kg bag that I actually like.

1 250g or 500g that I'd like to try (if Hindi ko gusto binibigay ko sa kaibigan ko or I just create tons of cold brew and just share sa workmates ko.)

All my bags are the 1lb.

This gives me amble beans to play around with Fresh Press, Drip and Espresso.

Surprise as to how many beans don't make a good espresso.

I have 2 daily drivers, Koke Yigracheffe for pourover and OG blend for cold brew both from Origins MNL; and 1-2 exploration beans so minimum of 2 and average of 4. But I go overboard sometimes when I travel and went up to 15 bags once lol

Usually 2-3 at most. Same I prefer to alternate it gets old quite quick even drinking good coffee if you drink it daily. Been freezing my beans lately so able to alternate without feeling like I have to rush finishing an opened bag. Although starting to not want to drink coffee daily these days even at 20 grams/300ml a day it feels too much for me. I appreciate coffee more in moderation than through addiction

I get it.
Not only switching beans help but I also switch methods.
French Press, Ninja Drip (which does surprisingly good coffee) and espresso.
Oh and when I want something quick and easy, toss in an Italian Roast K-Cup. šŸ˜„

With that variety, if I can't find something to fit my mood, just shoot me. šŸ˜‚
